Eldon's Hull wins again on Missouri Junior Tour

COLUMBIA - Eldon's Kassidy Hull continued her hot streak Sunday, winning the 16-18-year-old girls division in the Missouri Junior Tour event at A.L. Gustin Golf Course.

Hull shot a 5-over 75, defeating Columbia's Sydney Willingham by seven strokes. Hull birdied the par-4 16th and 18th holes to finish her round, and added 10 pars to go with five bogeys and one double-bogey.

The victory was Hull's sixth on the tour this summer. In addition to her win Friday at Versailles, she also posted wins last month in Sedalia, Camdenton, Moberly and at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club.

Hull won last year's Missouri Junior Tour Championship in the 16-18 girls division. Sunday's round was the eighth of 10 events on the tour's schedule. This year's Missouri Junior Tour Championship is Aug. 9-10 at Osage National Golf Resort.

Jefferson City's Greta Hinds placed third in the 16-18 girls division Sunday with a 13-over 83. She birdied the par-3 13th hole to go with six pars.

Jefferson City's Camryn Swinfard tied for fourth with a 16-over 86, birdieing the par-4 seventh to go with six pars. Wardsville's Elliott Hull was ninth with a 99.

Sean Minor of Columbia won the 16-18 boys division with a 2-under 68. He birdied the par-4 ninth and 14th holes and shot par on the other 16 holes in his round.

Westphalia's Cole Lehmen tied for seventh with an 11-over 81, posting three birdies in his round, while Eldon's Aidan Wells was ninth with an 83. Jefferson City's Jordan Grefrath tied for 12th with a 17-over 87.

In the 14-15-year-old division, Rolla's Jonathan Jordan had the boys' low score with a 1-over 71, while Columbia's Siena Minor had the girls' low score with a 7-over 77.

The remaining five divisions played holes 10-18 Sunday. Low scores in those divisions were posted by Carter Holliday of Columbia in the 12-13 boys division (35); Kate Ryan of Columbia in the 10-13 girls division (40); Eli Cummings of Eldon in the 10-11 boys division (39); Blaine Munzlinger of Columbia in the 8-9 boys division (34); and McKenzie Martin of Jefferson City in the 8-9 girls division.

The next stop on the Missouri Junior Tour is Wednesday at Redfield Golf and Country Club in Eugene. The last event before the Tour Championship is July 28 at Eldon Country Club.
