BELLE - The Chamois Pirates moved back above the .500 mark Saturday, beating the South Callaway Bulldogs 52-36 in the Belle Tournament.
The Pirates held a narrow 26-24 lead at halftime, but they outscored the Bulldogs 13-2 in the third quarter to push the lead to 39-26 entering the fourth quarter.
Chamois (7-6) hosts St. Elizabeth on Monday.
South Callaway (2-10) plays Sturgeon on Tuesday in the first round of the Sturgeon Tournament.
