Boys Basketball: Eugene 66, Chamois 43

CHAMOIS - The Eugene Eagles used a quick start to improve to 3-0 in Show-Me Conference play Tuesday, defeating the Chamois Pirates 66-43.

Eugene was ahead 20-6 at the end of the first quarter. The Eagles continued to lead 33-20 at halftime and 49-29 through three quarters.

Tre Kempker scored a game-high 27 points for the Eagles. Kyle Bond added 12 points in the win.

Devin Warren led the Pirates with 15 points, while Nate Nolte finished with 12 points.

Eugene (9-3) plays Friday at Linn.

Chamois (6-6), which is now 2-1 in conference play, hosts Tuscumbia on Friday.
