LINN - The St. Elizabeth Hornets moved one step closer to securing a second straight Show-Me Conference title Thursday, beating the Linn Wildcats 66-42.

St. Elizabeth led 14-7 after one quarter and 33-15 at halftime. Linn closed the gap to 49-36 by the end of the third quarter, but the Hornets won the scoring battle 17-6 in the final eight minutes to secure their 10th straight win.
