Boys Basketball: Mid-Mo HomeSchool 64, Central Baptist 53

The Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks used a strong third-quarter performance Friday to pull past the Central Baptist Hawks for a 64-53 road win in their season opener.

The Mavericks led 14-10 after one quarter and 27-26 at halftime. They then outscored the Hawks 17-6 in the third quarter to build a double-digit lead at 44-32.

Noah Haskamp led the Mavericks with a double-double of 16 points 10 rebounds, and Shelomi Miner finished with 15 points. Elijah Robinson also reached double figures with 14 points and Ira Haskamp had a team-high seven assists.
