MARSHALL - The Capital City Lady Cavaliers fell 47-28 to the Marshall Lady Owls on Tuesday in pool play of the Marshall Tournament.
Marshall held a 13-9 lead after the first quarter, used a late second-quarter run to lead 26-19 at halftime and shut out Capital City in the third quarter to take a 37-19 advantage into the fourth quarter.
Capital City (0-3) will continue pool play today against Kirksville. Game time is 4 p.m.
