VERSAILLES - The Blair Oaks Falcons limited the Eldon Mustangs to single digits in each of the first two quarters Tuesday in an 83-46 win in the first round of the Tri-County Conference Tournament.
After one quarter of play, the top-seeded Falcons led the No. 8 seed Mustangs 22-4. The margin reached 46-12 by halftime and was 70-34 after the third quarter.
Quinn Kusgen led Blair Oaks with 24 points, Luke Northweather scored 15, Jake Closser had 11, Eric Northweather contributed 10 and Jacob Rademan added nine.
Blair Oaks (1-0) will face No. 5 seed Versailles at 7 p.m. Thursday in the semifinals.
Versailles defeated No. 4 seed Hallsville 83-71 in the first round.
