College Football: Faddoul switches to WR

ST. CHARLES - Lindenwood senior wide receiver Alex Faddoul caught a 24-yard touchdown pass Sept. 3 in the Lions' 40-20 season-opening loss against Angelo State.

Faddoul (Helias High School) moved to wide receiver this season after previously playing quarterback for Lindenwood. He finished the game with four catches for a team-high 57 yards, and his first career touchdown grab cut Angelo State's lead to 22-14 at halftime.

Through two games this season, Faddoul has five catches for 73 yards.

Lindenwood (0-2), which is receiving votes in the AFCA Division II Top 25 poll, will host Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday.
