EMPORIA, Kan. - Emporia State junior setter Riley Bernskoetter had a match-high 23 assist Saturday in the Hornets' 27-29, 19-25, 13-25 loss to Newman.
Bernskoetter (Helias High School) leads the Hornets with 246 assists in just nine matches played, averaging 7.7 assists per set. She ranks 11th in the MIAA in assists and ninth in assists per set.
Emporia State (2-11) hosts Pittsburg State on Friday.
