College Baseball: Haley wins in relief for William Woods

FULTON - William Woods freshman Kaleb Haley earned the first win of his collegiate career Saturday, helping the Owls to a 9-1 win against Missouri Valley.

Haley (Helias High School) tossed two scoreless innings of relief, giving up two hits and one walk.

Freshman catcher Kamron Morriss (Blair Oaks High School) went 1-for-2 with a walk in the win, while freshman left fielder Tyklen Salmons (South Callaway High School) drew a walk.

In three appearances this season, Haley has a 1.31 ERA with one strikeout in 5 innings.

Morriss has played in four games and is batting .300 (3-for-10) with a double and two RBI. Salmons has also played in four games and has a single and an RBI.

William Woods (5-3) plays back-to-back doubleheaders Friday and Saturday at College of the Ozarks.
