ST. CHARLES — Lindenwood redshirt junior pitcher Tyler Cassmeyer threw six strong innings last Friday in the Lions' 13-2 win against Southern Indiana.

Cassmeyer (Helias High School) allowed one run on four hits with two walks and five strikeouts, improving his season record to 4-0.

In six starts this season, Cassmeyer has a 3.34 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 32 innings. Last Thursday was Cassmeyer's second quality start of the season.

Lindenwood (23-5), ranked No. 10 in Division II by the National College Baseball Writers Association, plays Friday at Maryville
