COLUMBIA — Columbia College sophomore forward Nick Brandt scored his first goal of the season Tuesday, helping the Cougars to a 3-1 win against Missouri Baptist.

Brandt (Helias High School) put the Cougars on the board in the 11th minute with his goal, which was assisted by Erik Rajoy.

Columbia College broke a tie at 1 at halftime with two goals in the second half. Brandt recorded an assist on the last goal by Nathan Durdle in the 82nd minute.

Brandt recorded three of the Cougars' seven shots on goal in the win.

Columbia College (3-1) hosts Hannibal-LaGrange on Saturday.
