Men's Basketball: Harrison leads Westminster in scoring in win

FULTON - Westminster sophomore guard Landon Harrison scored a team-high 19 points Saturday, helping the Blue Jays to an 84-56 win against Spalding.

Harrison (Helias High School) shot 7-of-10 from the floor, including 5-of-6 from 3-point range. He also posted six rebounds in the win.

Sophomore forward Trenton Barbour (Jamestown High School) finished with six points, seven rebounds and three assists for the Blue Jays. Junior forward Steven Brandt came off the bench to add six points and two rebounds.

Through 15 games, Harrison leads the Blue Jays with 17.7 points per game, adding 26 points Wednesday in a 115-104 loss at MacMurray. He is also averaging a team-high 6.0 rebounds per game to go with 2.9 assists per game.

Brandt is averaging 3.4 points per game, followed by Barbour with 3.2 points per game.

Westminster (6-9) hosts Greenville on Saturday.
