The Lincoln softball team will have to wait another day to start the 2020 season.
Saturday's season-opening doubleheader against the Stephens College Stars has been pushed back to today. First pitch is still scheduled for noon at LU Softball Field.
As a result, Sunday's doubleheader against Stephens - scheduled to be played at Battle High School in Columbia - has tentatively been pushed back a day to Monday. First pitch for that doubleheader is also scheduled for noon.
The Blue Tigers will still host Lane College for two games Friday, starting at 1 p.m.
