COLUMBIA — William Woods freshman outside hitter Lanie Lowry had a career-high 14 kills Oct. 1 in the Owls' 25-12, 25-14, 25-13 win against Stephens College.

Lowry (Blair Oaks High School) has posted double-digit kills in five matches this season. In Tuesday's 15-25, 17-25, 13-25 loss to Evangel, she also finished with a team-high eight kills.

In 15 matches this season, Lowry is sixth on the team with 95 kills. However, she ranks second on the team with 2.3 kills per set played.

William Woods (12-13) hosts Hannibal-LaGrange today.
