EDMOND, Okla. — Emporia State freshman setter Riley Bernskoetter had a team-high 11 assists last Friday in the Hornets' 22-25, 18-25, 15-25 loss to Central Oklahoma.

Bernskoetter (Helias High School) followed that the next day with a season-high 24 assists in Emporia State's 25-21, 21-25, 25-22, 25-14 win against Newman.

Appearing in five matches this season for the Hornets, Bernskoetter has 64 assists, which is third-best on the team.

Emporia State (5-10) plays Friday at Pittsburg State.
