FAYETTE — Central Methodist freshman specialist Krystal Brauner had a match-high 22 digs Saturday in the Eagles' 25-11, 25-11, 25-18 win against Peru State in the first round of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament.

Brauner (Helias High School) also had five assists in the win. In 31 matches, she has a team-high 487 digs to go with 105 assists.

Freshman right-side hitter Callie Henson (Helias High School) finished with four kills and one block assist in the win. This season, she has 213 kills and 35 total blocks.

Central Methodist (28-3), ranked No. 15 in the NAIA, hosts Clarke today in the conference tournament semifinals.
