Dear Editor:
Opened the paper to the local page, and I see the headline about scooters! When are the elected officials going to get that we the residents believe they should prioritize their work with doing what is best for the residents, which is care of streets, bridges and Wears Creek, which causes property damage to homes and businesses - not throw away tax dollars on such foolishness. Just recall in the past, bicycles laying all over town on sidewalks, etc. Get with common sense, council. Of course, if some resident would donate those instruments, go for it!
