Your Opinion: Democrats' socialist agenda

Dear Editor:

I commend President Trump for bringing this country around while dodging accusations from the Democrats about Russian interference in the 2016 elections during the first part of his term and then the Ukraine's investigation with Biden's son and his father along with several others top Democrats.

During President Trump's term he was hit with accusations from Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer about whatever they could dig up on him and would use millions and millions of taxpayers money to try to bring him down. In my opinion, the stimulus package was a throw-together package. I wonder how many pork projects were in this year's budget that were unnecessary.

In my opinion, we need to also think the government along with local government needs to let the people decide if they want to wear a mask or not, more or less they think we as Americans are not grown up enough to decide if and when to wear them. They need to let us decide if we want to mask up and let small businesses decide if they want to open or mandate mask use. Survive and take care of the families without handouts that won't last forever. Maybe I complain too much, but I am stating what I believe in. The government needs to stop trying to run our lives and interfere with our day-to-day lives so we can breathe and be less confined.

This virus is not going to go away anytime soon, even with a vaccine, so let us decide if we want to open our doors so we as American citizens can survive without all these government handouts, which are putting a strain on our national deficit. Some people don't think about what this is going to do to our children and their children and generations to come, neither do the politicians. Also, my family is struggling, too, but we will manage.

God bless us all!
