Your Opinion: Audit uncovers Hawley's sneakiness

Dear Editor:

Galloway was charged with investigating Sen. Hawley's run-up to his election. She has uncovered subterfuge and junior-high level sneakiness which should remind everybody that neophyte contenders are corrupted by older, venal pols when they send a signal that they are over-eager for power. You fell for them, Josh, those older, venal types who helped your election, but didn't do you any real good. You aren't doing us any good in the U.S. Senate, either, dependent as you are on the wrong guys.

You need a tutor in history and human nature to be truly useful to your constituents. Your education appears to have been inadequate.

Look for opportunities to be a real guy in a real place, doing real good for people. Quit your post, go live in St. Louis or Kansas City for a couple of years and find a diverse set of advisers. Enter public service then, after a few years of making an honest living, you'll be the senator you're only pretending to be now.

And it will help you to get a handle on your aversion to minorities; it appears you find us distressing and maybe unnecessary.
