I am writing in response to Mr. Trump's apologists. At least two whistleblowers have informed us about Mr. Trump's abuse of power by asking a foreign power to manufacture dirt on Vice President Biden through withholding military aid. Though debunked, Mr. Trump will undoubtedly keep telling these lies. Secondly, "the ask" is the crime. It is against our election laws to seek help from a foreign power. Two whistleblowers, as well as a former ambassador, have shown demonstrable proof that Trump broke the law. Texts submitted to the House investigating committees show that there was a whole host of folks working in the shadows to try to make this happen.
There are multiple instances where Trump has been using the presidency to enrich himself by charging the Secret Service and his staff fees when he goes to his resorts instead of using the places reserved for the presidency, and also having overseas military refuel and have overnight stays at his resorts. It is well known that foreign entities are using his DC hotel to get access to the president. What is more insidious is that the Saudis have secured a full floor in Trump Tower in New York. And yes, these are the same Saudi folks who financially backed the 9/11 hijackers, murdered an American journalist in horrific fashion, and continue to have beheadings in Saudi Arabia.
I am aware that there is support for Trump because he may be able, through his devious rouse, and in concert with Mitch McConnell, put judges on our highest courts that will also do his bidding. These folks have Roe in their sites and are willing to do anything to make that happen. And make no mistake, Trump's boy Kavanaugh will always vote Trump's way as he has plenty of dirt on him.
I strongly suspect that if President Obama did even half of what Trump has done he would have been impeached, tried, and removed by now. Apparently laws don't apply to Republicans. They can use a foreign power to help them in elections, obstruct justice, and siphon money from the federal government for their personal gain and have no consequences. How nice!
