Police seek 2 people in stabbing death of Missouri man

TROY, Mo. (AP) - Investigators from the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis have been seeking two people in connection with the stabbing death of a man in Lincoln County over the weekend.

The stabbing happened Sunday afternoon during a fight on a rural road between Cuirve River State Park and Kessler Memorial Wildlife Area, killing 44-year-old Christopher Wright, police said. The area is northwest of St. Louis.

Investigators said they are seeking a 24-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman as persons of interest in the stabbing and say the pair were last seen in a red 2007 Ford Taurus. No arrests in the killing had been reported by Tuesday morning.
