The annual HALO Art Reach Auction will feature special guest Oprah Winfrey.

The auction is among the largest fundraisers for HALO (Helping Art Liberate Orphans) and benefits youth experiencing homelessness.

In its 16th year, the nonprofit organization supports homeless and at-risk children with branches in Jefferson City, Kansas City, New York City and Portland, Oregon. It also has a global reach.

The organization began a Transitional Living Program in Jefferson City in 2014 to address homelessness among teenage girls. It also recently opened a house for boys, where boys can go after school.

The art auction will be virtual this year. It is to begin at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26 and will feature HALO youth, special guests, entertainment and a live silent auction.

Find sponsorship opportunities and online registration for the virtual event at the HALO website, haloworldwide.org/themainevent.
