Fulton teen suffers serious injures in Saturday crash

A 17-year-old Fulton boy suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle wreck Saturday afternoon in Callaway County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said the unidentified juvenile boy was driving at about 2:20 p.m. east on Route WW at County Road 259 when his vehicle crossed the center line. The patrol said his vehicle sideswiped a vehicle driven by Craig P. James, 28, of Ashland. It then came to rest off the east side of the road.

James was not wearing a seat belt and was not listed as injured.

The juvenile was wearing a seat belt and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
