Elizabeth K. Raney, 30, of Gravois Mills, died Friday afternoon when the truck she was driving lost control on a curve of Route WW.
At approximately 3:05 p.m., Raney was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 northbound, failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the road north of Hiawatha Drive.
The truck traveled back onto the road but then went off the left side and overturned, ejecting Raney, who was not wearing a seat belt.
She was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:10 p.m. by Assistant Morgan County Coroner Jason Denman and was transported by Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home.
Her death is Missouri Highway Patrol Troop F's fourth of the month and the 64th death of the year within the troop's service area.
