Jefferson City woman injured in Sunday crash

A Jefferson City woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Franklin County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show Malissa Jefferson, 27, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Travis Robbins, 32, of St. Louis.

The crash occurred at 5:47 a.m. Robbins was going eastbound on the westbound I-44 ramp from U.S. 50. When he began to merge onto 44, he struck the right side of a tractor trailer, driven by Tiffany Muzahem, 40, of Mississippi.

Jefferson and Robbins were treated for serious injuries. Muzahem had no reported injuries.
