The intersection at East High and Gordon streets in Jefferson City will be closed to through traffic beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday as Missouri American Water Company conducts water line work on East High Street.
Detour signs will be posted.
At least one-way access to and from the Gordon Street leg with the cul-de-sac will be maintained at all times.
The intersection is anticipated to reopen late Friday, weather permitting.
Due to construction, other closures along East High Street, between Locust and East McCarty streets, will occur through the end of the summer. Road closed and detour signs will be posted and moved with the active work zones.
