Resurfacing work will begin on U.S. 54 interchange ramps next week in Jefferson City as part of a large resurfacing and guard cable installation project in Cole County, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
Starting Tuesday night, a contractor working for MoDOT will resurface the U.S. 54 ramps at the Ellis Boulevard interchange. Crews will then begin resurfacing work on the Missouri 179 interchange ramps. This phase of the project is scheduled to be complete by Friday.
The ramps located at the Missouri 17 interchange will undergo resurfacing Aug. 3-6. Crews will also resurface the acceleration and deceleration lanes at that interchange.
