A Jefferson City woman died in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Cole County.
Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 7:55 a.m. on eastbound U.S. 50 at Route U.
Mlinda Hammond, 46, of Jefferson City, failed to stop at a stop sign, attempted to cross U.S. 50, and collided with a vehicle driven by Tammy Meisenheimer, 57, of California.
Hammond was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meisenheimer and Hammond's passenger, Brittney Summer, 24, of Jefferson City, were treated for serious injuries.
None of the three women were wearing seat belts.
