A Jefferson City man has been charged after authorities served a narcotics search warrant Tuesday morning.
Steven Thompson, 35, is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
The warrant was served in the 5200 block of Shadow Court around 9 a.m., according to a Cole County Sheriff's Department probable cause statement
Authorities reportedly found a homemade shotgun, drug paraphernalia and Oxycodone pills.
