Magic is coming to the Capital Region MU Health Care Amphitheater stage Oct. 10.

The family friendly Gillam Family Illusionists are the latest act added to the lineup at Riverside Park. Starting at 3 p.m., the show is a fundraiser for the Council for Drug Free Youth with all proceeds benefiting substance use prevention education programs geared toward area youth.

Started by husband and wife duo Aaron and Denise Gillam in 1993, the Gillam Family Illusionists have since performed at venues across the country ranging from large ballrooms and stadiums to gymnasium floors. They've been seen in shows at the Missouri Governor's Mansion and international conferences across the United States. The show is designed to have lots of music, high energy and audience participation.

Tickets go on sale Friday and cost $25 for adults and $10 for children; those younger than 5 years old are admitted for free. Tickets can be purchased through ticketmaster.com.
