It's the final Thursday Night Live of the season.

Tonight's event is set for 6:30-10 p.m., with the stage near the intersection of High and Madison streets. The Cherry Pistols will headline, with 2 for the Road opening at 7 p.m.

Brittney Cady, with the Downtown Jefferson City Association and marketing consultant with the News Tribune, said attendance has been slightly down this year, likely due to public health concerns surrounding COVID-19. But that hasn't stopped those attending from enjoying the event and the atmosphere, she said.

"Weather has been great and there has been a lot of social distancing, which is great because that is what we have been recommending," Cady said.

Vendors will be spaced around the block to help with social distancing, and hand-washing and hand sanitizer stations will be set up throughout the festival area. Masks are not required but encouraged. Organizers are reminding people that pets are not allowed at Thursday Night Live events.

Tickets are $2 for ages 4-12 and $5 for those 13 and older. That price includes a wristband and beverage cup for ages 21 and older.

"We are ready to have a great summer send off and can't wait to be back next year," Cady said.
