In this February file photo, operators move earth on the site of what will be the new home of Jefferson City School District's new early childhood education center, located on the grounds just north of Lewis and Clark Middle School. Bloomsdale Excavating has the contract to dig for the multi-million dollar project on the city's east end.
The Jefferson City School District will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Monday at the location of the future Early Childhood Education Center.
The groundbreaking, which is open to the public, will be held 3 p.m.
