Tyler Woods of Tyler Woods Memorial Service spoke before the public safety committee Thursday morning to request to be put in the rotation of funeral homes to be called when officials respond to a death at a residence. Woods, who owns a funeral home on E. Capitol Avenue is asking because some of his customers have had to pay multiple charges because a different funeral home picked up the deceased person.
A local funeral director asked the public safety committee to add his business to Cole County's coroner rotation to pick up bodies after a death.
