COLUMBIA -- The Capital City Cavaliers lost 6-3 in Wednesday night’s dual against the Father Tolton Trailblazers.
All three match wins for Capital City came in singles play. Isaiah Schnobelen won 6-2, 3-6 (10-7 match tiebreaker), Xander Schmid won 4-6, 7-5 (10-0 match tiebreaker) and Aniruddha Singh won 4-6, 6-4 (10-5 match tiebreaker).
Losing in singles for the Cavaliers were Trevor Vogt (6-3, 6-7, 6-10 match tiebreaker), Abhinav Pula (2-6, 2-6) and Gaurang Mishra (3-6, 0-6).
In doubles play, Vogt and Schnoebelen lost 5-8, Schmid and Pula lost 2-8 and Mishra and Singh lost 6-8.
Capital City (0-3), which lost 5-4 on Thursday to Missouri Military Academy, hosts Sedalia Smith-Cotton next Wednesday.
