The Jefferson City Community Band returns with its spring concert at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The free event will be held at Calvary Lutheran High School, 2525 Route B.
The program will offer a wide variety of music, ranging from classic band marches to music from "Fiddler on the Roof" to Irish music for St. Patrick's Day. One of those featured pieces will be "Irish Rhapsody," a medley of six or seven familiar Irish tunes.
Also on the lineup is "The Inferno" by Robert Smith, one of the most unique pieces they're doing, according to conductor Paul Hinman. "The Inferno" is part of Smith's collection that the band will be performing during the next year or so in remembrance of Smith, a friend of Hinman's who passed away last year.
They are also including "Festival Prelude," one of the pieces they weren't able to perform at the winter concert due to the weather canceling it.
"Regardless of their age or their interest, I think people will find something that they like," Hinman said.
