Friday collision injures Stover man

A 34-year-old man suffered moderate injuries Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision north of Versailles in Morgan County.

An ambulance took Matthew S. Wedge, of Stover, to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment of his injuries.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, at about 4:08 p.m., Wedge, who was westbound on Prairie Valley Road in a Ford Taurus, and Lewis H. Hoover, 64, of Latham, who was southbound on Mt. Zion Road in a Ford pickup, collided where the roads intersect.

The report said the intersection is not controlled by lights or signs.

Hoover was not injured.

Wedge was wearing a seat belt. Hoover was not, according to the report.
