You can support homeless and at-risk veterans and get a drink at the same time during the third annual Whiskey, Wine and Welcome Home event in Jefferson City.

This annual event features a unique, high-end tasting of whiskeys and wines, an auction, food pairings, a cigar patio and live music by The Norm Ruebling Band from Columbia.

You can choose between a Whiskey Passport or a Wine Passport, both costing $75.

The event will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. March 6 at the Capital Bluffs Event Center, 1616 Oilwell Road.

All of the proceeds will go to support Welcome Home's mission to honor veterans and restore lives.

Tickets can be purchased through their website, welcomeveterans.org.
