COLUMBIA -- The Blair Oaks freshman team picked up two wins Monday, beating Father Tolton 10-1 and Fulton 12-1 to remain undefeated at 11-0.
Carson Verslues pitched a complete game in the win against Tolton. In four innings, he allowed one run on one hit with two walks and five strikeouts.
Jackson Moyer had two singles and two RBI to lead the offense.
Bret Heislen was the winning pitcher against Fulton. In three no-hit innings, he walked one and struck out eight.
Aidan Vidi had a pair of singles and Moyer added a two-run double for the Falcons.
Blair Oaks hosts the Blair Oaks Freshman Tournament on Friday and Saturday. On Day 1, the Falcons play Hickman at 3:30 p.m. and then Southern Boone at 6:30 p.m.
