The Jefferson City Jays swept another Central Missouri Activities Conference matchup, 9-0, with Sedalia Smith-Cotton at Capital City High School on Wednesday, marking the Jays’ sixth consecutive dual win.
Winning in doubles for the Jays were Arjun Garikapaty and Avnith Kumar (8-5), Hoang Hoang and Dhruv Divyamukar (8-1) and David Murillo and Owen Friedewald (8-2).
In singles, Garikapaty won 8-3, Kumar won 8-2, Hoang won 8-5, Divyakumar won 8-1, Murillo won 8-3 and Friedewald won 8-1.
Jefferson City (9-1, 4-0 CMAC) will return to action Friday at the Smith-Cotton Invitational.
