State Technical College of Missouri President Shawn Strong talks while serving as the guest speaker at Friday's Coffee at the Chamber, a monthly gathering at the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce where attendees find out what's new in area businesses, workforce and trends. Strong told the 50 or so members gathered that growth at State Tech is strong and school officials are working toward a student body of 3,000 by 2030.
State Technical College of Missouri in Linn is experiencing growth, both in its campus offerings and in the number of students it serves.
On Thursday evening, the college celebrated the grand opening of Osage View, a 31,000-square-foot event and entertainment space at the former Osage Country Club clubhouse.
