Two popular characters will collide in Itsy Bitsy Broadway's next production.

"Sherlock and Cinders" is a mashup of the tales of Sherlock Holmes and Cinderella. It follows Sherlock's sleuthing as he works to help solve the mystery of who a shoe belongs to.

The cast is made up of around 25 children, ranging in age from 6-13.

"We kind of divide the kids up into their age groups for certain things, but then we mash them all up for production work," said Kira Rutter, director of "Sherlock and Cinders" and owner of Itsy Bitsy Broadway. "And it helps because the older students who have done this more are able to kind of lead by example and the younger students rise to the challenge."

"Sherlock and Cinders" bridges the gap between one of Itsy Bitsy Broadway's last shows, "Sherlock Holmes," and its next show, "Cinderella."

"We really appreciate the families, the stage moms, the stage dads, everybody at Itsy Bitsy Broadway who helps us pull this all together with the kids, it wouldn't be possible without the Itsy Bitsy Broadway community really pitching together and working hard on every production we do," Rutter said.

"Sherlock and Cinders" opens April 18 and also runs April 19-20. The show begins at 6 p.m. on April 18 and 19, and at 2 p.m. on April 20. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. To purchase tickets, visit itsybitsybroadway.com.
