Young victorious in Ward 3 race

Treaka Young won the open Ward 3 seat Tuesday on the Jefferson City Council.

Young won the Ward 3 seat with 615 votes (53 percent) of the 1,160 total votes cast in the race, according to unofficial results from the Cole County Clerk's Office.
