Leuckel prevails over Ward 4 incumbent

Challenger Chris Leuckel wrested a Jefferson City Council seat from incumbent Randall Wright during Tuesday's election.

Leuckel received 712 (66.26 percent) of the 1,043 total votes cast in the race, according to unofficial results from the Cole County Clerk's Office.
