The Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association's 15th annual fundraiser gala will be the bee's knees this year with its 1920s theme.

Puttin' on the Ritz will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel & Convention Center.

The evening, which will be emceed by Erin Hart, will include dinner, a cash bar, speeches from three different families, a live and silent auction, live music by Dave and Tori Baker, and more.

A few of the packages you can bid on in the live auction include a getaway at the lake, a tour of the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky and a cocktail party for 50 people at Revel Catering. There will also be a photo booth to ensure you capture the night, whether you dress in 1920s attire or not.

Founded in 2007 in Jefferson City, the Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association is one of three family resource centers in Missouri. They now have offices in four different mid-Missouri cities and have expanded to 24 counties, making Missouri the first state in the nation to have family resource centers covering all counties in the state, according to director of communications Gerry Tritz.

Tickets are $50 per person or $90 for a pair and can be purchased on their website at mofosteradopt.com/gala.
