Christmas music, carols and singalongs will take place during Lincoln University's annual Christmas Concert.

The Lincoln University Choir and Lincoln University Vocal Ensemble will perform with the Friends of the Arts Instrumental Ensemble, a group consisting of members of the Jefferson City Symphony Orchestra and the Columbia Community Band.

The night will include a wide variety of music, ranging from the "Western art tradition as well as some arranged carols and even some African pieces," according to Michelle Gamblin-Green, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choirs.

The concert, which is free to the public, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Richardson Fine Arts Center on the Lincoln campus.
