Passenger injured after driver falls asleep, crashes car

A 23-year-old passenger was injured early Wednesday morning in an Osage County crash.

Allex Fisher, 21, was driving his 2003 Ford Focus around 2 a.m. north on Highway 63 at Rock House Lane when he fell asleep at the wheel, according to a Highway Patrol crash report.

Fisher, of Glasgow, was going through a curve at the time and drove off the right side of the road before hitting a private drive.

Fisher was not injured in the accident.

His passenger, Kelly R. Liddle, was injured. The 23-year-old from Blackwater sustained moderate injuries in the crash and was taken to the University Hospital by Osage County EMS.

Liddle was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
