Prepare for the unplanned at Off The Cuff Improv Group's upcoming shows.

The group is set to perform two nights of lively improv to raise money for The Little Theatre of Jefferson City.

The group follows the style of the hit television show "Whose Line is it Anyway?"

"We do the hoedown, we do scenes from a hat, we do several games that are familiar to the television show 'Whose Line is it Anyway?' So if you're familiar with that TV show, you will see some familiar games. Some you won't know, some you will know," said Tim Thomas, founder and director of Off the Cuff Improv Group.

They will be performing their two-hour shows two nights in a row, starting Friday, March 3 with their second show on Saturday, March 4. The shows start at 7:30 p.m. at The Little Theatre, 1005 Chestnut Street.

"We try to do a pretty clean show, and we usually try to get all of our actors involved. We usually do about 20 games and each one of our performers is in at least nine of these games that we do, so it really is like a team effort," Thomas said.

He added, "We'll get some suggestions from the audience, some will be in place already."

This will be the first time all 10 cast members will be performing together for an audience, according to Thomas.

"The last show we did at Scene One, two of our cast members were unable to perform, so we've got our full cast this time," Thomas said.

The group will be debuting a couple new games, according to Thomas. They're also welcoming two special guests for the performances.

"Nathan Hays is our special guest for Friday night," Thomas said. "And on Saturday night, we have Erin Bidlack of Studio 573."

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at http://bit.ly/TLTJC-Improv or at the door.
