Corps of Engineers repairing Missouri River structures

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is working to repair wing dikes damaged in the flood of 2019. Currently work in underway to buttress the water diversions just east of the U.S. 54/63 bridges over the Missouri River in Jefferson City.  To strengthen the structures,, large rocks are added where necessary.

A couple dozen tons of limestone rock are being dropped into the Missouri River near Jefferson City.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is repairing wing dikes damaged by flooding in 2019.
