A Central Missouri man suffered minor injuries when his car slid off the road and struck a tree stump Tuesday evening.
Leslie L. Allison, 70, of Tipton, was driving a Ford Focus about 6:24 p.m., westbound on U.S. Highway 50 near the intersection with Business Highway 50 West, when his car slid off the right side of the road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
The car struck a tree stump and overturned, according to the report.
Allison, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center for treatment.
